Stark's Character Quiz

1. Describe a dream/nightmare that recurringly plagues your character

She has two nightmares. The first is that she is working on a dig in the
desert with her mother. It is hot and sweaty and they feel like they have
been out there under the sun forever. Suddenly Stark realizes that she
has forgotten the Large Animal Vet exam that was scheduled for today.
Worse off she can't remember how to get back to the class room to take the
exam. She starts wondering in the desert and gets lost. She calls Lake,
but Lake does not come. Eventually sunburned and dehydrated Stark
collapses and flunks her exam.

2. What might you, or other PCs, hate about your character?

Her appearance of being more in tuned with animals than with people. This
actually not a reflection of not liking people, but being somewhat inept
and deep personal interactions with others.

3. What would provoke your PC to kill a shadow-dweller?

She would kill a shadow dweller (not that she knows what one is), if her
life or the safety of others depended on it. She has a pet peeve about
animal abusers and might be goaded or tempted to kill someone very
abusive.

4. What is your most prized possession? Tell the story of how you came to
have it.

This story is being worked on as part of a background story, but here is
a brief summary. Her most prized possessions is a small carve bone flute
that she carries around in her backpack. She received the flute as a
birthday present from her first and only love (to this point) from Aidan.
A mysterious young man she spent a fall hanging out with. She met him at
a stone circle and he left her at the Fall equinox. She felt without a
doubt that he had to leave her, but her heart was broken when he did.
They spent the days climbing the hills, making love, laughing and telling
stories.

5.How would your PC live day-to-day in a modern 20th century world?

Much as she does now. Her world is very modern and there wouldn't be much
of a stretch.

6. What emotions can your PC express in public?

Calm, cool and collected.. She expresses happiness, and adoration, even
concern. Extremes of emotion and fear are never expressed.

7. What is your moral code?

The world is not a fair place, but to keep an even keel one must stay true
their moral ideals. Killing is okay, but it must be for self-defense or
to provide for basic needs such as food or clothing. Thieving is just not
thought of. She'll avoid answering a question, instead of lying.

8. How would your character react to finding out they aren't really who
they believe?

I think she'll be confused but relieved. Life for her has never been
normal. Strange things and events surround her footsteps. It would be
nice to know why this is so and why her mother has always treated her
differently than her brother.

9. What, if anything, does your character fear most?

Getting pregnant and loosing another baby.

10. List up to ten quirks, idiosyncrasies or affectations your character
has.

Chews on the ends of her hair when she is nervous or thinking strongly
about something
25 years old but has not seriously dated anyone since she was 16
Loves photography, is making a scrapbook of all the places she travels
Plays an odd antique bone flute
Currently working on a book deal for her photographs
Has a weird manner of hand-to-hand fighting a mish-mash of different
things she has picked up from the local tribes near where her mother works
on digs
Collects barrettes
Detests cold weather

11. Where does your character do their laundry?

Stark has an old washer and dryer at her house (lime green). She could
never imagine having someone else do her laundry when she is perfectly
capable of doing it herself.
