Fayne's Character Quiz

1. What are your character's colors and symbol? What personal meaning do they have, if any?

2. How old is your character?

Fayne is 45.

3. Do you fall into the category 'run with scissors' or 'plays well with others.'?

Fayne plays well with others. He is gracious and charming. You don't see the scissors unless it is too late.

4. What is your most prized possession? Tell the story of how you came to have it.

Fayne's most prized posession is a large tract of undeveloped mountain land, on a small distant world (travel
time in space 2 weeks). He has built a small log cabin on the land, and likes to escape there from time to time
for the solitude. He also likes going there to practice his shap changing where he knows he won't be watched.
He can be found running as wolf.

He prizes it because it is something wholly his, that no one else shares, it is an escape, from exactly what he
does not know, but he is at peace while he is there.

He gained this place from one of the head bosses when she took a bullet very early in her career. Her boss,
Gyzak, a Prawian that controlled local real estate acquisitions could not give her a raise in position for she was
too new and instead gave her this land. She transferred it to her male persona years later. Gyzak was soon
killed anyway in a small skirmish between rival houses, so she feels knowledge of this place is safe.

5. If you had three wishes, what would they be? (And no, you can't wish that you had more than three wishes.)

1 - Know why he has these abilities and what the limits of those abilities are
2 - Be chosen as head of the house
3 - Knowledge, power, safety to keep that position

6. What is your moral code?

7. What one virtue is important enough to keep sacred by your character? What one vice would the character never give
up? Why?

Virtue: Keeping his word, his honor so it may be, he's deadly and blood thirsty, but will stay true to his friends
and true brothers in the house.

Vice: The finer things in life, clothes, food, drink, sexual partners, all very high quality. Lived too long without
such things to give them up now that he has them.

8. Would your character have ambitions to take the throne?

Yes he would have ambitions to take the throne if Fayne understood how that could benefit him.

9. How would your character react to finding out they aren't really who they believe?

Relieved, answers a lot of unexplained questions, although he wouldn't easily give up what he has already
worked for.

10. What, if anything, does your character fear most?

Fears loosing himself/herself in the role he/she has played.

11. What is your character's defining quote?

He's very fond of Shakespeare and likes the following although they don't define him-

"The prince of darkness is a gentleman...."

"He's mad that trusts in the tameness of a wolf..."

Shelly:

12. Describe a recurring dream your character has.

Trapped in a lightless maze, he knows it's somehow on the moon, he can't shift new eyes no matter how he
tries, he keeps getting further and further lost.

13. What were your childhood ambitions, and to what degree have you realized them as an adult?

To get off this stinking dry dustball of a colony. Yes he has.

14. Describe your character's perfect day.

15. Which of the elders would/does your character respect most, and why? (The Tapestry elders being Geraint, Ben,
Quentin, Bailey, Gwyn, Jenner, Chris, Gen, Luke, Sarah.)

He would most respect Gwyn for her humbles beginnings and how she has risen in power to found a force in
Amber.

16 List up to ten quirks, idiosyncracies or affectations your character has.

-He always wears the nicest of clothes, silk shirts, calf leather boots.
-He never learned how to shift his center of gravity, so his walk is slightly odd.
- Likes shifting to his female form and using men.
- Is bisexual.
- Is quite gracious.
- Doesn't like losing control.
