Bonnie Pritts
I received Bonnie as a 6 month old kitten from Eve Rowe. Eve lived out in Jackson County and one night she was driving home in a rain storm. A streak of white flashed across in front of her car and Eve was sure she hit something. Eve didn't want to leave something to suffer so she stopped and opened her car door. In jumped a wet white and calico kitten. Eve knew her other pets wouldn't welcome an addition to the household, so she put the kitten back outside of the car. The kitten jumped through her open window. Eve decided she was stuck with the kitten. The kitten got the name Pest. Eve was right, her other pets, didn't like her, so she gave the kitten to me. My first cat and only pet besides a fighting fish, tadpole, and hamster I'd had as a child.
I named her Bonnie after Bonnie Raitt. I went to a Bonnie Raitt concert shortly after getting the kitty. She is fussy, but a sweetie pie, and the world's best foot warmer. |
