Her given name is Catherine, but she prefers Cat.  Naturally, 
her parents never call her that.  Cat sounds too lower class, Catherine 
is much more elegant.  She has wavy red hair that falls just to her 
shoulders and hazel eyes of the blue-gray variety.  She's tall, about 
5'10" in height, slender and respectably muscled, though not 
anything close to a weight lifter's build.

	When she wants to, she can behave with all the class, dress and 
manners that are expected of Marda nobility.  What she prefers is a 
more wild, partying attitude.  No matter what her style of dress, 
however, she is usually the best dressed around (with the exception 
of Sebastian, of course).  She is rather unusual for a native of Marda, 
since she knows no sorcery.  She plans to learn it, but decided 
learning Trump was more important, since it is a rarer ability, and 
therefore more valuable.  She's had some training in swordplay and 
martial arts, but it more due to Sebastian's urgings than her own 
desires.  She understands knowing how to fight is important, but she 
has no love for it.  She carries a Pattern sword that was empowered 
by Oliver when she walked the Pattern for the first time, but she's 
rarely used it.

	She's a bit spoiled and is used to getting her own way.  She 
tends to resent her father's attempts to dictate her life and his 
spying on her.  She believes he was responsible for the death of one 
of her lovers, a young man named Valentine.  She does respect 
Sebastian's opinion on matters of power, though she'll never admit 
this to him.
